-GEOFF SMITH
Geoff was a defenseman with the Kamloops Blazers for half of the 1988-89 season. Drafted in the 3rd round, 63rd overall by the Edmonton Oilers, Geoff went straight from the WHL to the NHL for the 1989-90 season. Smith was named to the NHL All Rookie team and won a Stanley Cup with the Oilers in his first season. His pro career lasted 10 seasons in which he played 462 career NHL games collecting 91 points for the Edmonton Oilers, Florida Panthers and New York Rangers. The Edmonton, Alberta native has also represented Canada on a couple of different occasions. Geoff played for Canada’s U-20 World Junior team in 1989 and was a member of Canada’s entry in the 1993 World Championship Team.
-SCOTT FERGUSON
Scott Played for the Kamloops Blazers as a defenseman from 1991 to 1994 winning two Memorial Cups as a player with the hockey club. Undrafted, Ferguson went on to a 14 year professional career in the NHL, AHL and Europe. Scott played 218 NHL games with Edmonton, Anaheim and Minnesota amassing 21 points and 310 penalty minutes.
The Camrose, Alberta native is a testament of hard work. Ferguson walked on with the Blazers as an 18 year old rookie, and turned his 3 year junior career into a long professional career.

-TJ FOX - (Oswego, NY), AHL Wilkes Barre/Scranton Penguins and ECHL's Wheeling Nailors. A product of the NHL's San Jose Sharks. SIgned with club in March of 2007 after a successful season with NCAA (Div I), UNION COLLEGE. 2007 HOBEY BAKER Award Honorable Mention! Currently playing with the Wocester Sharks of the AHL. Formerly Prep School stand-out at Salisbury Prep, Salisbury, CT., before moving on to the Syracuse Crunch of the OPJHL, then to the USHL's Green Bay Gamblers and Chicago Steel (JR A, Div I) where he was the leading scorer and an All-Star.
-JAY VARADY - (Chahokia, IL) Asst. Coach, Everett Silvertips, Western Hockey League Major-Juniors (part of the Canadian Hockey League) . Coach Varady coaches with the former Pittsburgh Penguins Head Coach, Kevin Constantine. Past coaching includes a National Championship with the Pittsburgh Forge Juniors and as an Asst. Coach with NCAA (Div I), Union College and the Midget AAA St. Louis Amateur Blues. Playing experience includes Midget AAA Chicago Young Americans, USHL Dubuque Saints (Team Capt.) and NCAA (Div I), Union College.
-BRIAN BOVA - (North Andover, Mass.) NCAA (Div I), Assistant Coach, Saint Michaels University, Vermont, Div III. Formerly the UMASS Lowell Div I, Graduate Assistant Coach. Coach Bova was a three-year standout at the Northfield-Mount Hermon Prep School. Two-time selection to NEPSAA All-Scholastic Tournament as a junior and senior. Named to the NEPSAA All-New England First Line as a senior. Named NEPSAA Offensive Player of the Year. Named captain, team most valuable player as a senior.

-Lance Corporal Nick Andersen, Garden City, NY - Former Apple Core Junior Player from NY. Currently serving in U.S. Marine Corps, 2d Tank Battalion, 2d Marine Division.
-Bryan Gill, New Hyde Park, NY - Nichols College, NCAA Div III. Played Apple Core Jr A in EJHL and a product of the Long Island Gulls.
LEADERSHIP COACHING STAFF (Off-Ice):

-ERIK CRAWFORD - (Stillwater, Minn.). Entered the Marines in 1984 and later entered Officer Training and was commissioned in the early 1990's as a Combat Engineer with the 3rd Combat Engineer Battalion on Okinawa, Japan and delpoyed 9 times throughout the Asia-Pacific Region. After leaving active duty in 1995, Erik served as Commanding Officer of a reserve detachment in Minneapolis, Minn. He was recalled to active duty in 2004 and served in Iraq. Erik currently works on armor technology with a passion for supporting of the personal saftey of our young men & women in uniform and is an avid youth Hockey Coach, Dad, Fan and Student with a desire to help young kids! A fantastic addition to our leadership staff!
SGT. RYAN PARENT - (Atlanta, GA). Nephew of the great Philadelphia goaltender, Bernie Parent. Enlisted in Marine Corps in 2003. Was assigned as as a Tactical Data Networker with WIng Support Squadron 272 in New RIver, NC. He deployed to Iraq in 2005 and then has been assigned to Headquarters Marine Corps. Ryan grew up playing travel hockey and then ended up playing in the Springfield, Mass Junior Pics program. He is currently the goalie coach with the Virginia Express.
